The teenage group of Patra Greek High School at the 31st Children’s Cultural Meeting in Karditsa

LtE Patras’ junior dance group had a great experience participating in the 31st Children’s Cultural Gathering in Karditsa organized by Karagouna Folk Dance Club for three days on 17th, 18th and 19th May.

On Friday, May 17 and Saturday, May 18, our group presented Peloponnesian dances in Plastira square and impressed the participants in every way.

At the same time, he and his friends visited the Archaeological Museum of Karditsa and, in particular, the periodic exhibition “Musical instruments from different countries of the world”.

This impressive exhibition has caused special interest because it takes our teenagers on a journey through time and space in the world of musical instruments.

During the tour, they came into contact with musical instruments from ancient times to modern times, as well as from the territory of Karditsa to the distant countries of America and Asia.

In addition, the dances, songs and the contact of our teenagers with our interlocutors from other regions of Greece and abroad were very important, as groups from Italy and Bosnia participated in the event.

We would like to thank the Karagouna Folk Dance Club for the invitation to such a successful event that it has been organizing for years.

Also, we express our special thanks to the parents of the children who trust us and are always with us.
