Following the sale of tickets for four performances, the National Opera announces an additional 5th performance of Tosca at Herodio on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 9:00 p.m. Puccini’s most famous masterpiece is being revived as part of the Athens Epidaurus Festival with musical direction, direction, sets and costumes by Loukas Karytinos by Hugo de Ana and directed by Katerina Pesatodis.
The final schedule for Tosca’s performances is now: June 1, 2, 4, 6, 11, 2024.
Tickets for the additional performance on June 4 will go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29 at 10:00 AM and will be held at the ΕΛS Funds at SNFCC (2130885700, daily 9:00-21:00). At the publishers of the Athens Epidaurus Festival and online more.com.
The additional performance on June 4 will feature ELS top tenor Tselia Costea, Mario Cavaradossi outstanding American tenor Carl Tanner and Baron Scarpia Greek baritone Tassis Christogiannopoulos. Tasos Apostolou plays Cesare Angelotti, Petros Magoulas Neokoros, Vangelis Maniatis as Sarrone and the Bailiff, Yiannis Kalivas as Spoletta, and Evita Cioti as the Shepherd.
