Heraklion: A dangerous plant that even causes blindness – Do not touch it

Scientists are sounding the alarm about a plant that hides serious risks for humans.

Typically, even a touch of it can result in death, while contact with eyes often results in blisters, burns, and blindness.

This is called a special plant Heraklion and slowly began to appear in the Greek fields, where it grew dangerously high, even reaching 1.5 meters. The risks stem from furocoumarin, which can cause painful blisters on the skin after sun exposure.

It is recommended to be very careful when uprooting the plant, so that it does not come into contact with the skin and eyes, as in some cases it can cause serious burns, so in case of exposure, the area should be washed very well.
